What are your favourite things?

G’day mates!

Hello, I’m AbiπŸ™ŒπŸ»

I was chatting with a friend over coffee about how sharing what you love can become your job, and living while doing what you enjoyπŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’»

I’ve always worked in fields I love.

Right now, I’m passionate about beauty, so I sell cosmetics.

My brand handles skincare essentials, plus body wash, hand cream, and even mouthwash.

Lately, I’ve been sharing more of my favourite things with people, and I’ve discovered some of them end up loving the same things! It’s just brilliant!

Honestly, I’m thrilled they’re interested at all πŸ₯Ί

Recently, someone took an interest in kimonos and bought oneπŸ‘˜

It’s such an expensive purchase, and the fact they bought a lifetime piece because of me is truly moving.

I hope we can wear them together and go out even as we get olderπŸ₯°

I realise I also love creating these connections between people. Over time, I feel I’m becoming more and more aware of what I truly enjoy.

But the biggest catalyst was joining C-place.

Thank you, everyone!! I love you allπŸ’•

Now then, a rather vague question, but what do you all like? What makes you feel happy?

English! Overseas! Kids’ growth! I imagine all sorts of things will come up.

I often share what I like, so lately I’ve been thinking I’d love to know more about what you guys all like πŸ˜‚

Incidentally, my latest trend has been discovering cosmetic brands conducting research based on genetics that connects to both beauty and health (wellness) πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’»πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’»

It’s truly amazing technology!

If you’re keen to focus on anti-ageing care, wellbeing, or wellness, do feel free to consult me lol

Let’s chat about it together hahaha

Well, even without anti-ageing, ageing beautifully is wonderful, isn’t it? ☺️

Blimey, I’ve gone on for ages! πŸ’¦

Thank you so much to anyone who’s read this far ❀️

I wish there were more places to chat about our passions with everyone.

Do follow me on Instagram (@strudel.cutie.4427) πŸ˜‚

And thank you to those who already follow me πŸ’•

Love,

Abi

Kimono: A Cultural and Fashion Icon β‘‘

G’day mates! It’s Abi!

I will introduce kimonos as in the previous one. At this time, I will write an attraction of Kimonos, such as looks, comfortable to wear and layering in this article. Finally, I would like to present my top three favourite kimonos.

First, I like the looks of them. They look warm but sophisticated. It depends on the kimono, it is warm (Hokkori) and soft, or cool and sharp (Syari-kan.) For example, “Tsumugi” has both faces warm and cool. “Yuki Tsumugi” shows a warm face, but “Oshima Tsumugi” shows a sharp cool face. Oshima’s looks are hard to explain in certain English words. Oshima’s sharpness is Shari-kan in Japanese. Shari is a kind of onomatopoeia. “shari shari”

Second, it is just comfortable to wear as daily clothes. They are refreshed and energised. Basically, kimonos have an image of being tight and difficult to wear, but fortunately for me this is not the case and I can wear them as if I were wearing normal clothes. Furthermore, they feel better and calmer when wearing them.

Third, Kimonos are fun to combine and layer colours and patterns. Especially fascinating patterns are the “Edo komon”, I think. The pattern of Edo Komon is smaller than usual Komon. It dyes tiny little patterns continuously. It can be worn for various scenes, from casual to semi-formal, and has two basic patterns; original and played. Original patterns are separated into three; Same, Gyogi and Kakuotoshi. These are the most common patterns. There are kimonos with patterns from old tales, such as Kaguya-hime and Momotaro, that are a type of played pattern with dots. Basically, played ones are more casual than traditional ones. Its pattern looks like lines from a distance.

Finally, I am going to introduce my favourite Kimono Top three! yay

1st: Edo Komon Played pattern, Kaguya-hime

2nd Nagai Tsumugi warmful (Hokkori)

3rd Edo Sarasa Kawaii and Played (Chic) patterns

How was the kimonos? They are all beautiful, aren’t they? I would like to publish more articles about kimonos : )

Well, have a good day! God bless you!

Love,

Abi ❀
